There’s nothing wrong with a little friendly competition, and at Symmetry Financial Group, we’ve created contests that allow our agents to compete for unique prizes: Once-in-a-lifetime destinations, cash bonuses and memorable carrier-sponsored trips.
By giving our agents a slew of contests to participate in, they have several opportunities to win. In this blog, we’ll break down a few types of contests Symmetry agents can participate in.
Symmetry Destination is an annual contest for Symmetry agents. Typically, the qualification period is from the start of January to the end of December of each year, and several agents can qualify to win.
Winning agents will be treated to a once-in-a-lifetime trip that changes each year. The upcoming 2023 Destination trip will be at the gorgeous Leblanc Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
There are two avenues for agents to qualify for Symmetry Destinations: The Producer’s Circle and the Leader’s Circle. Both circles require a minimum amount of net place premium to qualify, and so long as an agent hits either amount they are invited on the trip!
Agents can also take advantage of bonus weeks throughout the year (which normally only apply for the Producer’s Circle) where they can count submit totals in addition to the net placed totals.
Beyond that, agents that are contracted after a certain point in the year usually have a lower amount to reach before qualifying — so even new agents have a shot at making the trip.
Symmetry Destination is a contest that agents look forward to participating in every year. On our one-stop site, HQ, agents can check in on leaderboards to see who’s ranking at the top and how many points they still need to qualify.
At Symmetry, our agents have access to more than 80 major insurance carriers. And a lot of those carriers offer additional trips that our agents can qualify for.
Like Symmetry Destination these contests are annual with qualification periods that last the whole year. Since there are so many carrier trips that agents can qualify for, they have several chances to go on incredible trips to places like Maui, Argentina and Ireland (just to name a few).
Each carrier has its own requirements to finish the contest, so agents should always be sure to check the Contests section of HQ to stay up to date.
The Champion’s Cup is another Symmetry contest that gets our agents fired up every year. This contest ranks agents’ production between November and February.
Results of the cup are posted monthly on leaderboards that agents have access to and are based on the net placed production as well as licensed and contracted recruits. During that time, certain products count as double production for the contest. For example, last year’s cup highlighted Quility Level Term , a proprietary product from Symmetry’s parent company, Quility.
Altogether, 34 agents advance to the “Winner’s Circle” where they will be rewarded with a unique trip with Symmetry Founders Brandon Ellison and Casey Watkins, as well as a host of other prizes. What’s more, the top-performing agent will experience an upgraded trip. Last year, the winner received a top-level suite and a one-night extension on their all-expense paid stay.
The Champion’s Cup is a great contest that motivates agents to help more families and be rewarded for doing so.
Competing isn’t the only opportunity for travel for Symmetry agents. Quility Impact is an initiative focused on joining our corporate staff and network of agents to make a positive influence in our communities.
With regular opportunities to volunteer, agents can help out in communities outside of their own. That might look like a Habitat for Humanity build in another state or a hurricane clean-up in Puerto Rico. Through Quility Impact, our agents have a chance to give back while getting a chance to reconnect with their fellow agents while traveling.
