Capital at Play is an Asheville, North Carolina based publication with a growing readership across the Western North Carolina region. The magazine profiles the modern entrepreneur and celebrates the “free spirit of enterprise.”
Symmetry founders Brandon Ellison, Meredith Ellison, Casey Watkins and Sarah Watkins were featured in Capital at Play’s “Faces of Enterprise” issue. This annual feature profiles “those who take the risk, those who share that risk, and those who support them, inspiring others to do likewise, while giving back economically and socially to the communities that support us,” according to the magazine’s mission statement. The article details the founding and growth of Symmetry Financial Group and Native Kitchen and Social Pub, a restaurant founded by the Ellisons and Watkins in 2012.
Additionally, the article highlights Symmetry’s national pool of over 3,000 agents, the company’s life insurance offerings and its philanthropic efforts in the community; Symmetry supported over 35 local and regional nonprofits with more than $347,000 in 2018.
Along with a feature in the November issue of Capital at Play, Symmetry was also featured in the magazine’s Annual issue, which is a comprehensive showcase of businesses and leaders across the region. This issue circulates to business owners and subscribers across Western North Carolina.
